Instagram Sunday

Another late sunday post… My week was fast and a bit productive. Plus the highlight of it all was I got to meet with my different group of friends…

{1} One of my crafter friends from Manila is part of a pop/jazz trio called Baihana and they came to Davao to perform over the weekend. I was so happy to see Anna again {beside me} and her other bandmates {Krinna and Mel – right to left}, and I was blown away by their voices.

{2} Still on the same night, I dropped by at Sales Bar to see Davao Graphic Designers‘ artwork. Can’t help admire and be proud of my fellow Davaoeño designers…

{3} Lately, I’ve been addicted to cheese. As in really really addicted that I bought different kinds. Then my sister and I ate like hungry rats, haha. Now it all make sense why I was born year of the rat, lol.

{4} Earlier last week, I browsed my books to look for references again. Then I found dried rose this time instead of petals. They’re all over my books.

The week was great and my weekend was fantastic… Hope you had a blast too.

Are you also in instagram? let’s meet there: @iam_instagram.

Instagram Sunday

A lot of events happened for the past few weeks. That’s why I’ve been quiet for some time now. Most of the happenings were seriously great and few were also unfortunate. Anyway, the good ones include some invitations to do a craft demo, workshop with friends, and great projects. The unfortunate one would be the lost of my macbook pro.

Nonetheless, all is great for every time you lose something, it could also mean a new beginning or fresh start. So here I am with a new gadget, projects and ideas.

An habitual to my sunday routine, here are some of the photos from my instagram. I decided to get only the recent ones so not to overwhelmed you with my nonsense.

{1} My sister Sandy and my brother-in-law Opet is the most sweetest people in the world. They do know how to make me smile like a kid. They bought me a new toy. Now what to name it? Any suggestions?

{2} I was lurking some of my books for a new drink for Yellow Hauz and I found dried petals in between the pages. Do you also do this?

{3} This week was full of beverage tasting, which I’m very fond of. One of which was trying out some new coffee beans. We’re making sure to get our customers better coffee.

{4} Then my sister and I attended a tea appreciation seminar, which I like very much since I’ve been addicted to tea lately. Were also adding new flavors in Yellow Hauz.

A week before the tasting and a new toy…

{1} Since I lost my laptop from one of my trips, I’m back with my old one whom I called Tatang, because it’s a very very old macbook pro.

{2} Designing my sister’s invitation and I’m sketching Venice’s facade as her background.

{3} One of my impromptu trips just to see Joss Stone. Yes I’m a very big fan of hers.

{4} The trip was in Puerto Gallera and the event was Malasimbo music and arts festival. It was a great way to start my summer.

There goes another week… I can’t seriously keep up with time. But I’m enjoying every minute of it… How did your week go?

I’m a bit lost for words today. But here’s another instagram sunday… still non-related to crafts but just some random stuff that pertains to a good memory.

{1} A Kombi that I shall named Hurley once I’ll have one.

{2} There’s a little bird who visits me everyday by my window and I called it Oscar. And recently, he’s always with another bird.

{3} An photo of a cabbage yellow rose I used to have by my side table.

{4} Been using Yellow Hauz as my working space.

Howdy! I’m doing another late post again because I’ve been eating all day yesterday and couldn’t find a fast internet connection in my area… Anyway, I did a little theme for my instagram sunday this time. Just a spur of the moment. First collage is all about friends and family, second one is where I’ve been to and been doing.

{1} Attended Alessa’s watercolor crafternoon in Fully Booked, Boni High Street yesterday. Glad to bond with them again, and accidentally {Mansy-Me-Alessa} were all wearing black. “Thank you for joining Mansy just so we can bond”

{2} Me-Karen-Sandy-Christine: my artisan dolls during the bridal fair. So happy to have supportive cousins and sister.

{3} Heintje was so busy uploading photos and videos of me during my craft demo at Megamall last friday.

{4} Had an impromptu merienda with craft friends. So happy to see them. Wish we could have spent more time.

{5} Saw this uber cute café in San Juan called Le Creperie. Their crepes and hot chocolate-Angelinas are divine.

{6} So I’ve been in Manila for more than 2weeks and during the day, I work. My favorite place was Coffeebean just near my area.

{7} I lived in my Tita’s condo in Fort and this is their poolside.

{8} During the bridal fair, I had a lot of coffee intake. There’s one cozy coffeeshop in SMX called Cafe Bene where I hanged out to release anxiousness.

I’ll be back home today and I’ll be catching up all the deadlines later. Hope I can find time to post more about my activities later. Keep in touch though.

Instagram Sunday

Hello friends… I had an anxious and excited week. I’m preparing for a bridal fair {will tell you about this tomorrow}. Apart from preparing all the materials, creativity and mental even emotional aspects were really challenged. But all is good so far.

Here’s a sneak peak and a recap of my week..

{1} This will be my wall for the bridal fair. I had my sister and cousins helped me out, which I’m totally grateful for.

{2} Sometimes when I’m not designing, I’m making coffee. Yes! I’m a barista by day.

{3} Been preparing, planning and working hard even late at nights in my room.

{4} One of my favorite designs I made… and I used for my flyers.

That’s it so far… there are more actually however, I have tons of to-do list and I have to finish them all before I leave for the bridal fair. I will try my best to update once in awhile though. Have a great weekend ahead.
